[Elecraft] K2...SSB Xmsn Kills Power...Problem Solved

I took my K2 out to our local FD site here in Corpus Christi & it worked 
fine on CW but when I tried to transmit on SSB, the radio went dead.  (You 
know FD is exciting & in the excitement, we sometimes do dumb things!)  It 
looked like I was shorting the battery out.

I went home with my K2 on Saturday evening....switched to my Kenwood 
mike...and it worked fine, then I switched back to my Heil mike & it 
worked, too.  This morning, I decided to see if I may have plugged my mike 
in cross-ways.  Sure enough, my mike connector can be plugged in upside 
down.
