Thanks for the tips :)
In Albuqueque the Field Day festivities have been called off. So after our morning VE session KD5PZO and I are headed to points South to experience True New
Mexican contesting : who can make the best South Western Food! They're calling it Field Day and there might be a radio or two but this is serious business. Green
chilies or red chilies will be the question of the day, radio take the hind most. The solar power (and we have plenty of that) is to run the rotor on the grill not some silly
antenna. CW (cold water) is for cooling off one's palette after an especially hot chili. SSB (serve some burritos) is also a mode we prefer here in the Land of
Enchantment. They even allow the CB(cold beer)ers to play :)
Remember to have fun and if you make a few points remember to write them down before you succumb to the Field Day fiesta,
Kevin. KD5ONS
