[Elecraft] KPA100 RS 232 Interface

Hello out there:

Just wondering if anyone else besides me has a noticable spur at 14030(+/-)
being generated by the RS232 stuff. Whenever I plug the cable into the K2
and any other computer (I've tried this on 3) the signal is generated. It
makes no difference whether the computer is running or turned off... when
ever the cable is plugged into the computer, the spur starts. Unplug the
cable from the computer and it goes away. This is not there when using the
original KIO2 module (before KPA100). I can find some spurs, but they are
outside of the ham bands.

I understand that there is gonna be some signals generated when that 16mhz
oscilator is running, but you can't shut off that osc in the KPA100 like
you can in the KIO2, else the TR circuit won't work. The signal is not
strong enough to be a show stopper for using the port, but it is a bit
annoying that it is right there in the 20m CW band. Wondering if it might
be possible/reasonable to somehow move it out of the band by a component
value change.
