It's an excellent example of how important it is to look at something in
context and to understand how it has been used.

Anyone in the electronics field who ASSUMES mfd means millifarads and not
microfarads is going to be in for a lot of confusion, even though it might
be "correct" in a literal sense.

And anyone who runs across mmfd had best understand that means micro-micro
farad (picofarad) and not millifarad squared!
