Despite the silkscreen goofup with the control board, I was
able to manage the assembly anyway, using the parts
placement diagram in the manual.  It took a little longer
to do it this way but after working on various ships as a=20
radio officer for almost 7 years I got used to making do
with what I had available, especially when you're out in the
middle of the ocean and obviously can't order a new part to
be delivered the next day :)

Last night (Saturday) I completed the control board, front
panel assembly and the first few parts on the RF board.
This morning I did my first power-up tests and everything
worked flawlessly.

On to the 2nd stage!
