Yes.

Activate the menu and select ST L (sidetone level).  Hit Display to allow you to
change the sidetone source; change it to U8-4.  That will restore the sidetone
with this mod.

However, you must have a firmware level high enough to support the KIO2 for this
to work (I'm not sure what version that is).
