I run my K2 on solar via a 1 sq foot cell I purchased from The Electronic
Goldmine and an old SLA battery from my Miata. Works fine. I do however
use a controller that I secured from a fellow in Ohio that was featured in a
QST article. The Electronic Goldmine did have controllors for $15 that
sounded pretty nice and they are good people to deal with. No my
brother-in-law does not own the company. 73 Tom KI3R Port Vue Pa. nr
