Also Please explain your procedure to using the MP-2?  How you set up the
K2 and what type of switch is used on the MP-2;  is it a Momentary DPDT
switch?  And can the MP-2 be changed back to the MP-1 layout with the 80m
coil?

Or can the MP-1 converted to the MP-2 later?

can work dx. A dipole probably would be better. I see the MP-1 & 2 as
portable antennas (I have both). I use the swr function of the tuner in
my K-1 and K-2 to do the tuning., flipping a switch with the MP-2 is
easier than the manual way with the MP-1.
