[Elecraft] A Big Thanks To Wayne

SeaPac 2002 in Seaside, Oregon last weekend was a great
success, in no small part to Wayne Burdick's presence at the
Elecraft booth.  There always seemed to be a group gathered
to hear what all of us already know...the high quality and
high performance of these great kit products.  We thank
Wayne for putting up with all of us customers who helped him
talk up the K1 and K2.  And a special thanks to Jim Belt,
K7JIH, for hosting Wayne and providing all of the tasteful
Protestant jokes!  And last but not least, my wife was very
appreciative of the fact that Wayne convinced me to buy the
last K2 available at the show, s/n 2690.  Think of all the
expensive postage I saved!  And, I'll be out of her hair for
about the next 40 "free" hours!   Everybody was a winner on
this one!!!  Anyhow, I obviously enjoyed myself, and we're
all very excited about possibly having Elecraft back up here
next June!  Thanks again, Wayne!
