This is what Wayne just sent me:

I want to make sure everyone knows that a K2 remote panel is only a
product concept at this point. We have not committed to delivering it by
any particular date. We tossed this out as a possibility, not a given,
and at this point I can't predict what the scheduling realities will be
in that time frame.

With that caveat in mind, any and all input on the idea would be
welcome. In fact we asked for input on this a while back. All of those
suggestions have been saved.
