Do ya really have to decide?

Do both!!!! It is a simple lid-swap to switch from QRO to 
QRP/Battery.

BTW, QRO makes a killer mobile. I've worked some great DX from 
my Checy Blazer with the K2 and a Yaesu ATAS-100 antenna.
