[Elecraft] K1: Just Rebuilt My 2-Band Filter Board

I took a suggestion that I think Wayne made some months ago regarding
what to do with one's old KFL1 two-band boards after replacing them with
the KFL1-4 four-band model. I got the parts from Elecraft and re-built
my old 20m/40m board for 80m and 17m.
I had to remove about 30 parts from the 20m/40m board and remove the
residual solder from the associated PCB holes, so it took longer to
re-build than it originally took to build. I was very happy with the
durability of the Elecraft PCB. When it was finished, the board looked
completely as if it had been originally built for 80m/17m. Not a single
trace or solder pad lifted, and no scorched marks developed, during the
re-build. That's one high quality PCB.
This is the first 80m-capable QRP rig I've owned.
Though I'll seldom actually use the 80m/17m board, it's nice to have it
all tuned up, and the frequency display CAL constants stored in the K1,
just in case. Plus, it makes me feel better to have found a use for the
old 20m/40m filter board, which had "white elephant" status since the
40/30/20/15 meter board came out.
