[Elecraft] Audio Output Level Low

Hi..

I'm in the process of testing my K2.  All voltage checks / calibration, etc. are right on the money.  There is plenty of audio on the sidetone.  However, receive audio is quite low, even with the gain cranked way up.  (even signals which show s-9 on the LED bargraph are hard to hear with speaker or headphones.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
