Tom,

I use one of those single 1/8" stereo plugs to dual 1/8" stereo jacks you 
can buy at Radio Shack and plug it into the headphone jack.  Plug 
headphones into one of the jacks and a jumper to the sound card into the 
other jack.  It works well and suits me fine.  I like it better than the 
speaker because it picks up less hum, and I like to be able to control the 
level using the AF gain control as well as the RF gain control.
