Thank you Sverre for the link to that interesting
page.  Although it gives comparisons for pulling
range & temperature stability it says nothing
about any possible degradation of phase noise
performance - unsurprising, since this is a
difficult parameter for amateur measurement.

I'm a bit surprised that yours was the only
response to my posting - I had imagined that our
list's gurus would have plenty to say on this
thread, for there as in the past been little
mention of this interesting K2 feature.
