[Elecraft] how to seal holes in a car battery useable for /p operation?

Chris,

A grommet would be the best thing to seal up the holes.  If you have auto 
supply stores  or vehicle body repair shops, that would be a good place to 
start.  Here in the states, another good place to check is a car stereo 
store.  They use grommets when they run power wires to the audio amps in back.
