[Elecraft] Long wire and KAT1 ?

Hi Laurent,
I'm using a K1 on 40, 30, 20, and 15 with an 80 foot end-fed wire and 33 foot 
counterpoise. The KAT1 tunes to 1.2:1 or better on all bands.

After experimenting with dipoles, inverted V's, and the like, I've concluded 
that the end-fed wire is the easiest to set up in the field. Only one or two 
trees are needed, and the spacing and location isn't critical. The 80 foot 
wire seems to work just as well.

Why 80 feet? I started with 66 feet and added wire until the KAT1 could 
handle it on all four bands.
