[Elecraft] SD-20 Pole/SLV question...

Hi all,
  Glad to see I'm not alone...I grew up in the city and when I got my SD-20
I thought it was the most complicated thing I'd ever seen.  Of course being
a city "Know it all"  I wasn't about to ask anyone for help!
