Before I sold my Ranger II a couple of weeks ago (got $540 for it on
Ebay), I checked it's power output into a 50-ohm dummy load on all bands.
On fone, loading it up to 130 mA per the manual, it put out about 45
watts on 160m thru 10m and about 22 watts on 6m (where it doubles in the
final). On CW, loading it up to 140 mA, it put out between 50 and 55
watts on 160m thru 10m and 25 watts on 6m.
I didn't measure the plate voltage, so I don't know exactly what the
plate power input was.
Was sorry to part with the old rig, but had to make space for my K2, hi.
