[Elecraft] Freq Generator Needed

I agree with Robert.  If you can find a surplus/working AN/URM-25D you will
have one that is one of the best ever made.  I have owned four of them and
each cost me either something in trade or less than $50.  If you can find
one
with a manual and accessories, you will likely pay around $65-$75 for it and
aside from shipping costs for about 25#, the price is well worth it.

If you can't find one I suggest looking at e-bay for an older military tube
freq gen.  The go real cheap and are very stable.  I have one I use and am
quite happy with it.  I've seen them go as cheap as $5.00 and cover
10Khz-400Mhz.  I suppose many think if it's not solid state it can't be any
good.  Far Far from the truth!
