Recieved The MP1 antenna today and set it up in my schack for measure,
connected to my MFJ-259B analyzer.
Fully stretched it did not touch the roof..
Did spread out the 10" radials out to the kitchen and into the living room.
Wife wondering (as usual..)
Slided the coil down to 7Mhz - (very nice... can slide to a frequency...).
Measured resonance and SWR abt 2.8
Heared a lot of sigs so connected my K1.
Pushing the " wpm+ and wpm-" the ATU established an r 1.1..
Called HG80ST and received 579.. (sent 579)

Astonishing that I could get that qso from this situation with Hungary -
from inside a building, and with very low level (15m above sea), and with
the K1´s 4,5w indicated.

Otherwise.. The antenna is very "portable". 1 part is 0,75m. The others are
0,3m or less.
There is an extra coil for 80m. Not big either. Sais for it self it will be
norrowbanded...
But accordingly to the ARRL handbook - small antennas are not less efficient
just more narrow
in bandwith....
