You know, the more I read the posts, the more it seems that I grow
impatient.  I am determined to NOT use the plastic on this one.  I am truely
trying to save up for one (which is a good idea in these times).  Plus, I
think I will appreciate it much more (kinda like when I was a kid and saved
up for stuff... oh wait, that wasn't me.... I was the one running down to
the gas station getting candy bars....)

I already have a Weller 35W iron that me and a ham friend here locally
talked about.  I was thinking of getting a soldering station, but from the
advice he gave me (and he is on this list :) it seems to be fine.  Maybe a
new tip.  Can I get by without a circuit board holder?  I will be using an 8
foot folding table myself...

Anyways, cannot wait to join the ranks of happy hams with K2s.
