Bob, there are no spare outputs on the K2's micro to provide a drive
signal for this. But there might be a spare pin on the KAF2 micro that
could be used, etc. I'll look into it.

Another possibility would be to do something flashier with the display
to remind you that you're in split mode. Any suggestions? It can't be
too obnoxious.
