[Elecraft] OT: Linux help

Hi Elecrafters,

Again I turn to members of the Elecraft fraternity for assistance. I'm 
new to Linux, and I'm trying to install some PSK software (to use with 
my K-2, of course). I have tried to install LinPSK, GPSK, and KPSK on my 
system, running Mandrake 8.0 (Linux Kernel 2.4.3), with out success. 
When ever I try to run ./configure for any of the programs, they all 
exit with an error that they can't locate a header file called " 
libz.h". I ran several searches, and have not been able to find this 
file on the 'net.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
