George, thanks for the prompt reply. I downloaded the latest version of
MixW2 and it indeed does have the K2 shown in its configuration.
However,
I don't see it act any differently than the previous version that didn't
have the K2 shown. I have been using some macros written by Charles
Greene
that tells the K2 to go into CAT mode. I could probably do most of what
I
would like to do using macros, but the K2 Remote software sure spoils
you
with what it is able to do. You can also tell at a glance what
everything
is set at.

It's not that I am reticent to write macros (I have programmed in
something
like 30 different languages including APL, Jovial and assembler), I like
the
more visual interface of K2 Remote better than pushing buttons. Also,
the
macro interface doesn't tell you at a glance which filter you are using,
for example.

I have the latest copy of MixW2. I guess I will play with it for a few
more
days before deciding whether I want to shell out $50. I don't object to
the
price, but I hate to pay for something and end up not using it.
