Been there, done that, about the same age. Judging by the spectacular effect on
that formerly straight needle in that little Lafayette VOM, it is amazing how
much momentum it must have had when it hit the right side of that meter case.
Knew better but was in a hurry trying to figure out where my latest project
failure had blown a fuse. It wasn't before that wall receptacle. With a start
like that, I've only improved. However, I've not been notified that the PA100
beta test materials have been shipped off to my new enterprise, Infirmaties of
Aging And Otherwise Testing Services, yet.
