Jay:     Unless something has changed that I'm not aware of,
Digipan is freeware.   If you are paying for it,  you shouldn't!!!
Look it up on the internet and download it from any number of sight
that offer it FREE.
As for the software of choice??
You will have to make up your own mind about that.  Just start working
PSK and see what everyone else is using.  You will find a pretty even
mix of softwares out there and they all do a FB job.
