[Elecraft] K2 # 2448 passes first test

Dear All,

I have constructed and tested my K2 (Ser No. 2448) upto first calibration 
with flying colours!

When it came to testing the key/paddle it was a bit tricky, as I haven't one 
yet (why would I if I don't do CW?). But, I cheated a bit and used a spare 
piece of wire to short the connection on the keying jack (with the rig 
upside down to see if it worked) ;)

Although I did have one problem along the way:

The double sided tape provided to secure the green acetate (to cover the LED 
bargraph) was hopeless. It kept sticking to the tape and nothing else and 
wrinkled up etc... So I pooped down the shop and got some double sided 'Duck 
Tape' which has worked a treat.

Now to work on construction and testing part two... Well theres a first time 
for winding toroids!
