I'm assuming that using WWWV to calibrate should show a 600 Hz CWn tone =
with 10000.00 MHz on the freq display when the Sidetone Pitch is set to =
0.6 KHz.
Seems I was explaining how I'd calibrated my K2 to W5LXG (another K2 - =
neat) on 20 meters this morning, and figured I'd better be sure I'd done =
it right. His freq readout was 400 Hz higher than mine after careful =
zero-beating. Someone else had done his calibration, tho.

Steve, if you are on the reflector (FCC Db doesn't show email =
addresses), before those DX Lid Tuner AH's "helped" us out, I was trying =
to say if you zero-beat the WWWV sig for ZERO, you'll be off by the BFO =
freq. You've got to beat it against your spot tone. Believe me, tho, if =
I'm wrong, this group will straighten us out faster than W1AW's fastest =
CW practice.
