[Elecraft] K2: Loss of Tx Power

Hi chaps ..

I mention this purely for your interest:

I lost all output power in mid (SSB) transmission on Saturday, just as
if the PA transistors had blown.

Further investigation showed that the 1R5 emitter resistor in the driver
stage had gone open circuit (or high value). There was no sign of over-
heating on (or around) the resistor, and I have no idea why it should
have failed.  Close inspection revealed a tiny pin hole in the body of
the resistor, but this may have been present before it failed.

Anyway, replacing it with a new 1R5 resistor has restored the Tx power
to normal.
