[Elecraft] K2 2930 is GREAT!

Yesteday in the North America QSO party I attempted to work several stations
with great success with my K2 on SSB.  I started on 40m, then 20m and 15m
and worked numerous stations.  I was only not able to work 1 or 2 stations
that I called and they were on 40m. I was totally surprised and shocked at
what I could do with the K2 on SSB and 10 watts.  I even managed to break
through a pile up or two.  I was sitting there laughing everytime I made a
contact.  Just the thought of working other stations with a radio I had
built from parts was a bit overwhelming for me.  I guess it maybe old hat
for some of you but for this Ham it was GREAT!  Guess it sounds silly but I
enjoyed every minute of it! Oh ya... I was runnin the K2 with my Z11 tuner
and a 12/17 rotatable dipole up about 25'I had built and a 40m dipole laying
on the ground practically (One end came out of tree with ice).  Thanks to
Elecraft! Now I need to understand all this filter stuff and go back through
and adjust some of those.....
