[Elecraft] Why no doping of torroids in Elecraft kits?

I've used Q-dope on coils for years and never had it detune anything by a noticable amount. I used it on all of my K2 toroids *after* everything was built and working. I agree is is not necessary, but it does make everything a bit more "solid" - especially the smaller toroids. I always have my toroids tight against the board so a small amount of Q-dope flows down and attaches the toroid to the board.

I've had QRP rigs exhibit "mirophonics" due to very small movement of the VCO coil and this has been corrected by the addition of a small amount of Q-dope (likely not a problem with the K2 because the VCO coil is bolted down).
