Until I started playing on the traffic nets, I viewed QSK as a pretty low
priority, too.

I don't know how many people realize it, but in spite of CW being 5 to 10
times slower than speaking, CW traffic nets handle 3 times the volume of
phone nets.  I think QSK has a bit to do with that.  Of course, the
incredible discipline and organization don't hurt!

The first time I listened to QMN/Late I was totally blown away.  24 QNI, 12
QTC, 13 minutes!  And the code speeds weren't all that high.  Now it turns
out that was a little better than average, but rarely does the net run over
20 minutes, and rarely do they dispatch fewer than 6 QTC, and the only time
I've heard net control go much over 20 WPM is if someone calls him at 30.
