[Elecraft] K2 and HW-101?

The schematic shows that the RF voltage at the grids should be about 45
volts. The plate voltage is 800 V.

Another possibility is to drive the 6CL6 driver, rather than the final.
However, I discovered that it is physically much more difficult to get in
there with a mod.

Vic's idea about the 200 ohm resistor would probably work without a matching
transformer if the K2 has the ATU, no?

If the K160M is installed, the HW-101's built-in antenna relay could be
utilitized, controlled by the keying output from the KIO2. I think it would
be very similar to hooking up a "category II" transverter to the K2. (But
not exactly QSK!)

that.

Looking at my ancient Bill Orr handbook, I suppose about 50-75v, depending
on
the plate voltage. Well, you could just use a 1-4 toroidal transformer
between
the input and a 200 ohm swamping resistor.
