4 MHz Oscillator Calibration.

When adjusting C22 I get the following.

With preferred method 1 my frequency counter reads 12248 kHz. The K2 display
reads 12103.64 KHz.  When adjusting C22 the K2 display reads from 12103.16
to 12104.89 kHz.  Can't get it up to 12248 kHz.  My frequency counter reads
exactly 1 MHz on my little scope calibrator.  I don't know about 12 MHz.

Method 2 using my Sony ICF-2010 works just fine.  Although I do get two
points very close when turning C22 that I hear the zero-beat.

Should I assume my frequency counter is questionable at 12248 kHz and run
with method #2?
