There is no ALC input on the K2.  ALC is only required if the exciter is capable
of overdriving the amplifier, and then only to reduce the possibility of
splatter if the exciter is accidentally misadjusted.  Many SSB operators do not
bother to connect ALC, depending on the output level control of their
transceivers to provide a proper drive level.
