[Elecraft] # 1185 is alive

Well, yes that is one-one-eight-five.

I bought #1185 early last year, knowing that it would take some time until I could actually start and build it. But I knew I would build one anyway :^)
What I was looking for, was a rig with excellent performance in the amateur bands.
My intention was to make the building a fun project, so I waited until I had the time to build it in a relaxed way. (By the way, I really like to wind those toroids. It is a Zen like experience.)
The basic K2 is up and running. #1185 did its first QSO's in the Happy New Year Contest. I hope to hear you soon...
