Doug and all,

I have not yet seen the final assembly yet, but from the info I have
assembled in the past, mounting the KPA100 externally will mean only the
addition of a one input BNC connector and a cable between the 9 pin D shell
connectors.  A small bit of wiring inside the base K2 and the amplifier
mounted top assembly may be required, but I'm certain someone will come up
with these rather simple steps and show them to the rest of us.

I for one will be disappointed if it is more complex than that - I am
planning to assemble mine in an external box (the EC2) as soon as I can get
my hands on the parts shipment from Elecraft.  I have an idea that it will
be very soon now!
