Unfortunately the FCC would definitely treat this as us selling an -external-
100w amplifier, which is prohibited in the 100W output class (the 'CB amp'
rule). You as an individual ham can modify your equipment to your heart's
content though.

If you do it on your own, no problem. If we sell it specifically set up to do
this with an 'external amplifier' machined panel, its a problem.

We -do- plan to offer a QRO version of the KAT2 auto tuner that fits in the
bottom part of the EC2 blank project chassis.

By the way, we're about to go into Field Test on the K2/100. I spent part of
this week at our CNC machine shop looking at final heat sink prototypes. Stay
tuned!
