The EC-2 could be machined to accept the KPA-100 and appropriate cables and 
connectors.  The ATU-100 could also be included in this enclosure.  Install 
plugs and jacks on the rear of the EC-2 so the K-2 loaded with all options 
(including KBT2,  KAT2 and KIO2) can be unplugged and used in its original 
QRP configuration  This would be the best of both the QRO and QRP worlds.  
The KIO2 might have to be removed from the K-2, however, if it is redundant 
with the KPA-100.  The computer interface connection could be installed on 
the rear of the EC-2.
