[Elecraft] KNB2 problem....hmmmmm

Hi all.....

    I have been beating my head on my bench for the last few days.  My KNB2
does not sound like NB1 is any different, and NB2 is attenuated to being
nearly inaudible.  I have found that U3 is only feeding 2V to Q6 when set to
NB2 (Wide Pulse Width).  All other voltages are as they should be, and the
circuit appears to be 'alive'....that is to say that all stages are working
in some capacity.  Since there is nothing between pin 7 of U3 and the Gate
of Q6, I must assume there is a problem with one of these components....the
question is, which one.  I am leaning toward U3....any guidance would be
appreciated.  Thanks and best 73....
