i was thinking a neat product idea would be some sort of dual-element (dual 
resonance) mobile/portable antenna compatible for use with the K2 and KAT2, 
similar to what SGC uses for their mobile antenna, but just a lot less 
expensive!  
also, maybe it would be possible to make some sort of internal module for the 
K2 so that it could be used with the yaesu ATAS-100 antenna?  you know, send 
antenna tuning signals up the coax to tune the antenna?
i think both of these options would be well received by the K2 public.  i 
sure know i would buy them!
just my opinion!
