I use a "BNC Binding Post" - It is a binding post/banana socket directly
attached to a BNC male.  Here is a link to one:

In case that link doesn't work, they call it a "Black BNC Plug to Binding
Post Audio Connector".

I keep a couple in my "adapter box".
