[Elecraft] First weekend w/ K2

Hello everyone,

Well, I just finished my first weekend with the K2.  Here is what I was able
to do (this was all done casually when I had time):

F5IPE - 10 watts SSB
OD5NH - 10 watts SSB - first contact ever with Lebanon...
UU1JD - 5 watts PSK31
4X6UO - 5 watts PSK31
I5AFC - 5 watts PSK31 - (This was made by me calling CQ DX)

For some reason, I did not make any CW contacts which is weird (no fault of
the K2!!!)... did not try hard enough I guess :)  The neat thing about low
power is the XYL is not yelling down the stairs "Your interfering!!!" (Dang
cheap phones)

In summary, I love my new K2.  The receiver is excellent.  The filter works
wonders!!  Best ham purchase I ever made.  Anyways, looking forward to
making some nice CW contacts...
