Oh yes! Everything checks out fine as far as calibration is concerned.

That is NOT what I am seeing. What I am seeing is that the tuning rate
varies according to how FAST I turn the main tuning. The FASTER the tuning
control is rotated, the SLOWER the rate of tuning. It varies - in the 10 Hz
rate - from about 1 kHz per revolution if the tuning control is rotated
slowly to about 0.5 kHz per revolution if the tuning control is rotated
quickly.
