Folks,

Since the version 2.xx firmware reduces the power during tune - the problem
could be solved easily by getting one of the BNC 50 ohm terminators commonly
used for LAN (10Base2) cabling.  Go to one of the computer stores that stock
networking hardware and they will likely have the terminators.  If not, look
at www.JDR.com  for 'BNC-TERM-50' - they are 1.29 each in the catalog I am
looking at.  These terminators are not high wattage dummy loads, but I have
used them at the 5 watt level for short periods of time with no adverse
effects.
