A minor suggestion:  While learning code and building habits, note 
the code you hear that is easy to copy, and the code that is 
difficult to copy.  Then try to learn to send the code in the style 
that you would like to have sent to you.  (Golden Rule)

For example, I am challenged at copying code that is run together and 
irratic.  For me it is much easier to copy code in my head where 
there is a small space between words...

If you do not learn to send clean code, you may find that your 
rag-chews don't last long.  Or, you will never score in a pileup.
