Dan,
:-), you know, a little, as in a little until it works right!   Actually,
usually a 5 or 10 foot piece of parallel line does the trick.  For the
multiband purist, you might have a two foot jumper, 5 foot, and a ten that
can be used singly or in combination to present a suitable impedance in the
range of your transmatch.
