I have got my K2 assembled up to the Alignment and Test Part 1 - manual p. 41 - but I
seem to have a problem.

On first power up it displayed the INFO 201 EEPROM initialising message correctly,
but this did not clear after 10 seconds as it should.  I eventually switched off
after a while.  Now on switching on it displays ELE (without the craft) and sits
there with the buttons doing nothing.

I tried a 'resetting to factory defaults' procedure as on p.99 of the manual (hold
4,5,6 on power on) and this did another INFO201 but the result was the same - needing
to power off to clear it and ELE stuck on the display.

The only difference to the manual assembly is that I have already installed the
components of the 160m option on the rf board (except for its socket) but the 160m
board itself is not yet fitted.

Any suggestions?  Time to call it a night here in the UK!
