[Elecraft] K2 #644 in ARRL DX contest

Hi

Here is a short description of my participation in the ARRL DX contest
during the last week end, with my K2 #644
Power : 5 watts
Antenna : a Levy 2x20 m long at 10 m over the ground, with a 300 ohms ladder
line and an home made matching box.

We were on the french riviera these last 2 weekd, so we arrived in home
Burgundy only Saturday at 4pm; some hours later I was qrv on 10 m, just for
the end of the band closing ... I logged only 40 qso this day.
Next day, sunday, the morning was dedicated to family activities, and I
switch on the K2 at 2 pm...

Contest activity : 8 hours
Number of QSO : 300 (it was my goal ...)

15 m : 75 qso; 32 multi
10 m : 225 qso; 54 multi
Claimed score : 77 400 pts

10 m was widely open to north america and the caribeans. Very loud signals
from the west coast at 1800 gmt; About 50 qso at the minimum power (# 100
milliwatts), just for the fun ... If I have had more time for the contest, I
think that it was possible to get 600 to 800 qso; perheaps next year !!!
